Scientists Investigate Unusual South Pacific Coral Bleaching Event

Scientists are investigating the uncommon coral bleaching tournament spherical the French Polynesian island of Moorea in the central South Pacific Ocean.

What made this tournament uncommon and drew the eye of ocean scientists used to be that it occurred in a year ( April and Can also 2019) and not using a El Nino prerequisites.

The team discovered that anti-cyclonic eddies resulted in the tournament. These currents elevated sea ranges and resulted in a focus of hotter waters on high of the reefs. This bear created an underwater marine heatwave that used to be not considered from the bottom. The tournament highlights the significance of collecting records at the bottom and deeper in the water column.
