This year marks the Divers Alert Community Europe’s 40th anniversary.
The organization has been serving to divers in Europe since 1983, when a community of passionate divers and diving physicians started a DAN Europe dedicated to the health and security of the enviornment diving community.
In step with a DAN Europe timeline, Dr. Alessandro Marroni primarily based World Diving Aid (IDA) in Milan, Italy, in 1983, the first diving association to assemble a 24/7 emergency hotline, world assistance network and insurance coverage applications particular for diving.
