The Academy of Underwater Arts and Sciences (AUAS) has announced the winners of the 2023 NOGI awards.
This year’s winners will be equipped with their awards on November 15th, 2023, at the NOGI Awards Gala Dinner party all during the DEMA Insist in Recent Orleans. This year’s five winners include:
- Renowned Provider- Abdulmohsen Abdulmalik Al-Sheikh.
- Science- James R. Holm, M.D.
- Sports actions/Training- Dr. Drew Richardson.
- Atmosphere- Lynn Funkhouser.
- Arts- Amos Nachoum.
Commenting on this year’s winners, AUAS President Dan Orr said:
“The NOGI Award is the oldest and most prestigious award within the leisure diving world, recognizing individuals who get hold of made indispensable profession contributions to the game, the industry and the field within the Arts, the Sciences, the Atmosphere, Sports actions/Training and by Renowned Provider.”
