The PADI AWARE Foundation has announced a sequence of neighborhood grants aimed at supporting its mission.
The Mission Hub Neighborhood Grant Program targets to collaborate and work with native communities to strengthen the United Countries Decade of Science for Sustainable Pattern. The 2021/2022 grant cycle will focal point on:
- Reducing coral decline through coral restoration.
- Campaigning to provide protection to inclined marine species.
- Establishing marine protected areas through adopting a dive space initiative.
- Mitigating carbon emissions through blue carbon initiatives.
- Bettering raze management utilizing marine debris citizen science.
Commenting on the grants, Danna Moore, the Global Director of the PADI AWARE Foundation, said:
