Conservationists Are Warning That Cod May Be On the Verge of Extinction Off Great Britain

The Marine Conservation Society (MCS) has warned that cod may perchance moreover merely travel fully from British and Celtic sea waters.

The extinction of the species in these waters is thanks to rising sea temperatures. Cod is a chilly-water fish that doesn’t cope well with rising temperatures, which tremendously reduces the survival of its young.

Commenting on the dramatic decline in the population, Charlotte Coombes from MCS mentioned to the Declare newspaper:
