To celebrate the centennial of standard Turkey, the Turkish authorities has announced the hole of a historic stretch of its fly to divers worldwide.
The blueprint is off Gallipoli and parts 14 World Battle I wrecks.
The new Gallipoli Historical Underwater Park lies off the fly of the small village of Seddulbahir, on the Gallipoli peninsula. While diving was beforehand permitted in the blueprint it did require a clear allow.
Of the 14 wrecks delivery to divers, the most properly-identified is the pre-dreadnought battleship HMS Majestic, which was sunk by a U-boat with the loss of 49 men.
The positioning is the scene of the ailing-fated Gallipoli campaign that claimed the lives of spherical 130,000 troopers from either aspect, including 10,000 troops from Australia and Fresh Zealand, 10,000 French troops, 25,000 British Troopers, and 86,000 Ottoman troopers.
