A brand modern Netflix documentary about freediving, titled “The Deepest Breath,” is decided to premiere on the Sundance Film Competition next month.
In step with a Netflix synopsis:
“A champion freediver trains to spoil a world yarn with the relieve of an expert safety diver, and the two contain an emotional bond that feels relish fate. This coronary heart-stopping film follows the paths they took to fulfill on the pinnacle of the freediving world, documenting the thrilling rewards — and inescapable risks — of chasing a dream thru the quiet depths of the ocean.”
Director Laura McGann says:
“The atmosphere and emotional vitality of this story is what at the birth put drew me into searching for to sort this documentary. Filming around the sphere and with the outstanding matters on the coronary heart of ‘The Deepest Breath’ has been essentially the most inspirational and rewarding experience of my profession.”
McGann is a documentary filmmaker from Ireland. She began making films and producing theater when she used to be 15 years identical outdated and went on to detect film in Ballyfermot, Dublin earlier than getting her masters at Hope University, Liverpool.
