AIDA World Depth Championships Day 3 – Gallardo, Rudman Claim Women’s Continental Records

Day 3 of the AIDA World Depth Championship freediving opponents in Roatan, Honduras, observed two new girls’s continental records broken within the Free Immersion (FIM) self-discipline, alongside with one other two national records.

The USA’s Enchante Gallardo shrugged off her yellow card within the Fixed Weight with Bifins (CWTB) self-discipline on Day 1 with a Continental and National File FIM dive to 90m/295toes.

South Africa’s Natalie Rudman claimed a Continental and National File alongside with her 71m/233toes dive.

France’s Marianna Gillespie efficiently dove to 82m/269toes for a national myth.

Turkey’s Sahika Ercumen earned a national myth with a 90m/295toes dive. While totally glad referring to the stay result, she wrote on Instagram:

“It used to be the worst dive I’ve ever carried out. I had obtained 2 crimson cards in this category sooner than and this is largely the most complex category for me!”

And Taiwan’s Mia Hou efficiently dove to 60m/197toes for a national myth.
