The US Freediving Federation has presented that Dr. Juan Valdivia has joined the organization as its original clinical director.
Valdivia, identified as “Juani” in the freediving neighborhood, is an authority member of the AIDA Scientific & Science Committee as well as a member of AIDA’s Disciplinary Committee. He has contributed to AIDA’s blackout guidelines, lung squeeze guidelines, clinical instruments for competition guidelines, AIDA mini-Neuro Examination for Freedivers, and is director of communications for the AIDA Scientific Committee, serving beneath Dr. Oleg Melikhov, in accordance with a most contemporary USFF blog post.
