PADI, Blancpain Join Forces to Increase the Number of MPAs

PADI and Swiss watchmaker Blancpain introduced this week they’re becoming a member of forces to work towards increasing the resolution of marine protected areas (MPAs) across the globe over the upcoming decade.

The organizations unveiled their collaborative partnership at the ninth Annual World Ocean Summit.

In accordance with PADI Worldwide President and Chief Executive Officer Drew Richardson:

“Blancpain and PADI possess rich histories rooted in exploration and ocean conservation, tantalizing both organizations to develop into powerful catalysts of planetary trade. Protecting our oceans is no longer most efficient core to our ethos, but basic for our very survival. The sphere must pull together to stem the pressing disaster in our ocean and now we possess an immense alternative to pause in trade. We’re proud to work alongside this form of basic companion who shares our optimistic outlook on the long trot and a deep commitment to extra empowering our world neighborhood to survey dawdle and set up the ocean.”
