Jason Whitehead took the head space at final weekend’s Blue Water World Cup spearfishing competition at Palapas Ventana Resort in Baja California.

Whitehead scored 316.7 aspects, with the marlin he speared placing him above Ivan Struthers, who came in second with 300.2 aspects. G.R. Tarr (209.8), Nathan Minnatta (165) and Stagger Ames (131.2) rounded out the head 5.

In the crew competition, Pez Pequeno came in first with 745.6 aspects, Purple Tide performed second with 486.1 aspects, and Mas Floppers (267.05), Pleasing The Tip (244.3) and Mar y Tierra (50.15) took third through fifth arrangement.

The opponents raised US$3,625 (~3,039 Euros) for El Parque de los Buzos, a playground being built. Donations came in the make of sales of diver catches as neatly as donations from dive crew Pleasing the Tip, alongside with crew Redtide’s G.R. Tarr, plus Jason Whitehead.
